Blocked from using Pandora

. Posted in unkown

This morning at the office; no more music from Pandora - the free music streaming service - has been forced to restrict International access to anyone outside the United States due to current international licensing restraints.

**********
We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for most listeners located outside of the U.S. We will continue to work diligently to realize the vision of a truly global Pandora, but for the time being we are required to restrict its use. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative.

We believe that you are in Netherlands (your IP address appears to be 198.184.231.254). If you believe we have made a mistake, we apologize and ask that you please contact us at pandora-support@pandora.com

As of now - 9:00 AM on 7rd May 2007 I have to live without the music station Pandora :( at my work.

This is a real shame as I love Pandora to expand my knowledge of bands. My colleagues and I where always guessing the bands and artists. Also I discovered many new artists where I was previously unfamiliar with.

For now I have the following questions:
  • Will I lose my account and history?

  • Is't possible or will it possible for international users legally access Pandora?

Looking forward to logon to Pandora ASAP to listening to the great music again!

For now I will look into for other possibilities to be able to listen
