Software Research Inc. has released a new version of its eValid Website Test and Analysis Suite that simplifies automated testing of complex web applications and server loads. EValid V8 offers web application testers a new programming interface to most eValid commands and browser actions, new document object management commands, and advanced Ajax synchronization. (Document object management pertains the control of any web site object files, such as product images or text.) It also includes options to develop playback scripts of visitor sessions, commands to support testing of server load balancers and to customize eValid for monitoring rich media applications. “The V8 release of eValid represents the most powerful version we have ever done,” says Edward Miller, president of Software Research.
