Every specialism has his own challenges and this counts also for Testing.  Within a test project you can think about setting up the right test strategy, execute and report on different test phases or organize the test team.  In each case you need to think on; how this fits the customer needs, how you can do this in the most efficient and effective way. Pragmatic, focused on processes based on a project or line organization.

With more than 10 years experience in IT consultancy I am aware of the pitfalls in testing, flexible to adjust to the needs of the organization, with a constant eye on quality and deadlines.

Started in 2001 to work for Atos-Orgin and after a couple of years I specialist me within the profession of testing. In the years after I worked as a consultant for number of clients and changed from employer in 2006. At Capgemini I continued within test strategy for large international (outsourced/off shored) projects in the roll of Test management. The dynamic within these projects was on strict deadlines of the delivery to production. With my testing skills I focused on how we can improve the individual steps in development process to finally improve the quality of the delivery into User Acceptance Test.

During the development process we can do  a lot of activities to improve the quality of the system. First of all we need to take care that all the requirement have been properly tested, however the real challenge is within the operational use of the system. By focus are testing scope during the User Acceptance Test on the validation that the software is ready for operational use. So no focus on finding defects any more but testing against business scenarios (how is the application used in production). These actions supported that User Acceptance Test is supporting to the go live and helps solving issues with workarounds.
